 DAY OF THE FRONT YARD

Papaw has been in the front yard all day.  He rolled up the sod and hauled in some good topsoil to put between it and the mulch, dug up the electrical wire for the sprinkler system and pulled it through a metal conduit and then replaced the temporary wire for his night light with a shielded cable.  Someone mentioned the grass seed package when he was about to call it quits for the day... he tilled the packed soil, scattered the grass seed and then raked the soil so as to bury all the seeds.  A final touch was to move the sprinkler control inside the laundry room.

Mamaw says:  I got up early, studied, made breakfast, washed dishes, went grocery shopping, came home and made soup, started working on apricots, made lunch, talked to Donna, took a nap, finished working on my apricots, cleaned the kitchen, gathered zucchini & pepper, watched Papaw work in the yard for a little while, watered some plants I bought today, made dinner, cleaned up and I am now watching TV.  We love all of you!

                            Love,

              Mamaw & Papaw
