We had our R.S. Birthday Social tonight. It was a real success... the program was "A Place of Honor." To honor women, we had slides of the Nauvoo Monuments and some things in our own R.S. A person read (and we had music / songs) between the showing of each slide... it was a very spiritual program. The Cultural Hall was decorated like a garden with paths leading to various tables. The center table in the garden had a small replica of one of the Nauvoo statues and the other tables had representations of such things as : intellectual, spiritual, compassion, etc. We had ice cream and pie for desert.
