HYRUM AND BUDDY AT THE RODEO

Danni and Buddy got up, had cereal for breakfast, got dressed and went to Donna's for the day.  They are all planning to go to a rodeo this evening.  I am sure Hyrum will get the idea of how it is done so that he can make use of this skill in his own backyard.  He has already made an attempt to mount one of the three horses in their shelter.

Here is what I did with my day:  I got up early, studied, had breakfast, did the ironing, went outside and pulled some weeds, came in and called Jean and talked to her a while when it was time for Papaw to go on his mission.  I went back to the yard (after Danni and Buddy left for Donna's) and worked until about lunch time.  Read until Papaw came home, had lunch with him and then took a nap.  Papaw came home an hour early (there were no candidates at the center this afternoon due to the holiday) and I sent him to the store for some buttermilk.  I made buttermilk syrup for Donna... she is expecting Alice and Callie to come in from NC tomorrow.  I went outside and watered some flowers after finishing the syrup project.  It will soon be my bed time.  Good night all!!!

Your Papaw was in charge at the Employment Resource Center today because the Associate Manager, Brother Coil, is on vacation all week.  A few job candidates came in this morning but no one was there after 2:30 PM.  The three missionaries and their secretary visited for half an hour and then closed up shop for the holiday.  He has pretended to read the sprinkler system timer directions all afternoon but that has just been a cover for his long nap.  Daniela has this new blog for him to post daily tidbits on and he is curious as to where this might lead.  Maybe a JOURNAL?!!  Wouldn't that be a wonderful use for this internet???

  We love all of you!

                   Love,

          Mamaw & Papaw
