LITTLE HELP MOWING
Buddy went out and helped Papaw mow this morning. He isn't big enough to drive the riding lawnmower but he did a fine job with his self-propelled mower and didn't want to quit when it was time to go to the Lagoon. He said the trees hit Papaw's head more than his and he needed to stay half an hour longer. As he was leaving he asked me to tell Papaw that he put his lawnmower away. Buddy had a sick stomach when they came home from the Lagoon (he probably had too much junk food). Danni is doctoring him with blue Gatorade and ginger ale.
My routine was the normal: I got up early, studied, had breakfast, set out my new plants and swept the back walk. Danni and Buddy got up and had breakfast. I did the laundry and ironed, had lunch, took a nap and then dusted / vacuumed. It will soon be my bed time.
Papaw spent some time mounting his sprinkler control box at the front and adjusted three of the sprinkler heads. He plans to fill in the well box, cut down a tree, rewire the outside light and then do something with the front lawn within the next week or two. Looks like he also needs to do a little trimming of the hedges, they have grown higher than the fence and some of their branches are dead. Maybe he can find enough to do to keep himself occupied.
