TO THE DUMP, TO THE DUMP, TO THE DUMP DUMP DUMP!

Papaw has worked all day trying to fill one of the ten dumpsters in our neighborhood.  He dumped the three buckets of gravel, dumped about eight buckets of apricots that were on the ground and then found two tables in the cellar to add to the bottomless pit / dumpster.  This afternoon he helped Roy Hall move the remaining fill dirt (about 2 1/2 tons) out of our driveway and into Irene's backyard.

Here's my day:  I got up early, studied, made breakfast, washed dishes, worked in the yard, talked to Oliver through the fence while I pulled weeds.  We had lunch, I pulled a few more weeds and then took a short nap.  I went back out to gather snails from my flower garden (after a little rain shower), made dinner and  washed dishes again. I got some cucumbers and zucchini from my garden today.  I talked to Jean this morning and John called this afternoon (he said that Kristine and the kids went up to the ranch today).

I am feeling a little better... I think the medicine is kicking in.  Our Compassionate Service folks asked me to make a desert for Lola's funeral.  The funeral will be at 11:00 AM next Monday.  It will soon be bedtime.  Good night!

We love all of you!

                   Love,
         Mamaw & Papaw
