 A LITTLE GREEN

Your Papaw picked a lot of apricots today and found out that there eleven dumpsters parked on Benview Drive for the week end.  He dashed off with his chain saw and chopped down the dead plum tree and hauled it to the dumpster and then returned to his front yard.  He has attached a couple of snapshots of the sod to show you that, at long last, there is a little green in front of our house.

My Friday the thirteenth:  I got up early, but didn't study (I am still feeling a little under the weather).  When the kids got up we made egg mcmuffins for breakfast.  Donna came and got Hyrum for his doctor's appointment (a check-up on his arm).  The arm is all healed and looks good.  I went to the doctor... I had a UTI and hopefully the medicine will kick in soon.  Donna got back, we made lunch and they went home... she said they could still see smoke from their wildfire, but no flames.  There were helicopters pouring water on the mountain.  I took a nap after they left and then vacuumed the floor, fixed dinner and washed the dishes.  As soon as it is time to take another pill I am going to do that and then go to bed.  It is raining outside...  maybe that will help fight the wildfires.

We love all of you!

                 Love,

      Mamaw & Papaw
