 MORE WATER

Papaw turned his irrigation water on again this morning and the flow was no better than it was last week.  He waited until after 9:00 AM to call the Water Master and request a couple more turns on the head gate.  The request was honored and the proper volume of water began to flow into the field making the old man happy.  Papaw came across the Water Master at the canal and told him, "The water flow was perfect.  Thanks!"

We now have so many plums that they are trying to break down two trees... maybe they are trying to out do the apricot trees.

 

 

As far as Mamaw, she got up early, studied, made breakfast, washed dishes, made her bed and did laundry.  She spent a large part of the day moving some gravel and planting flowers in our old fish pond.  She had lunch, pulled some weeds, picked zucchini, pepper and cucumbers, then she talked to Jean on the phone.
