BLUE SPRUCE TRIMMING
Papaw picked some more pears this morning while waiting for the grass to dry. He trimmed the lower branches of his blue spruce trees this afternoon while Mamaw took her nap. I think the old fellow is getting lazy because he didn't finish mowing the yard until it was about dark... let's see if he does the field tomorrow. I bet he is planning on the irrigation water being cut off for the season and eagerly anticipating a reprieve from all the watering and mowing.
Mamaw: My day started early, I read, studied, looked on Buddy's blog, cooked breakfast, washed dishes, put some tomatoes in the freezer, pulled weeds in the garden, picked cantaloupes, made lunch, took a nap, made a cake, cooked dinner and washed the dishes. Papaw and I took some pears over to Ray and Debbie Smith's this morning. I am now watching TV and it will soon be time for bed. We love all of you!
