NEW SKILLS
Papaw is learning some new skills this week. John decided to take the week off and rip off his roofing and this was an opportunity for the old man to find out how one of those shingle removing machines works. It will do wonders for a fellows back after about three hours of work.
The top one is from Lowe's and the other is from Home Depot. Either one will give you a back ache if you attempt to put it to work.
This afternoon the Spanish speaking missionaries called for their dinner appointment. Papaw had asked for a schedule last Sunday at the stake missionary correlation meeting. All he got was a response that the schedule had been published!!!??? We fed them pizza and Mamaw called some of the sisters to feed them for the rest of the week (the Spanish missionaries are for our whole stake and we should only be responsible for them one week in seven).
