AWARDS DAY IN TOOELE
Papaw's itinerary was modified to allow an oil change on the Chevrolet right after neighborhood watch this morning. He then chauffeured Mamaw to Target, Kmart and Walmart (she sure is persnickety when spending her money). This afternoon he shook a 5 gallon bucket of pears off our trees to take to the Stakers.
Mamaw says: It has been a long day. I got up a little late, studied, read, made my bed, did the dishes, got ready for neighborhood watch (spotted a new move in), took some bread and jam to some new members at 4226 W 4570 South, went shopping, came home and had lunch, picked cucumbers, cantalope and tomatoes to take to Donna's, went to Donna's (picked up Colleen and Sari), went to Tooele City Hall to see Kristen presented an award by the Mayor of Tooele (about six of the sixth graders were recognized as outstanding citizens).... We are proud of Kristen (How about me??? All right, we are proud of all our grand children!!!). We love all of you!
