FINALLY FINISHED
Our front yard sprinkler system installation was completed today and it has been a long drag with the main water line being all rusted and leaking. Dustin had to stop working on the sprinkler system for a few days while he replaced the main water line... what a mess that was. We are glad to have all the work stopped but would have preferred to skipped Sunday labor.
Grandma says: Not much going on today, I got up early, studied my SS lesson (on the Holy Ghost), got ready for church, woke Tyler and Elizabeth, helped them get ready (I only had to get their clothes out of the closet), Buddy got up and dressed himself, Danni was last (she wasn't feeling too well today) and went to church. Buddy and Tyler assured me that they were starving to death when we got home from church... Buddy even laid on the kitchen floor pretending to be dead. After lunch I cleaned the dishes and told everyone that I would die if I didn't get a nap. I went to bed and Papaw took the kids for a walk down by the irrigation canal using Buddy's wagon to add some excitement for the journey. Papaw took my watch so that he would know when my nap time was over and he timed it just right. We made big bowls of ice cream with choices of toppings after their hot excursion. Movies and a few trips out to play made up the rest of the day. Have a good evening!
