RETURN OF THE STAKERS
It wasn't the Jedi... it was THE RETURN OF THE STAKERS that we enjoyed viewing this afternoon.
Mamaw got busy filling some stockings after the Stakers left. Some of these hangings looked a little precarious... a little glue might not be able to support the weight of a couple of lumps of coal.
... And then Mamaw said: I got up early, went over my SS lesson, made my bed, had breakfast and got ready for church (we attended sacrament meeting and SS... skipping RS and Ph so that Papaw could pick up the Stakers on Jet Blue flt. 232 which was due in at 11:38 AM). Colleen joined us for lunch and we all got to hear of the Staker family's adventures on their cruise and into Mexico. Papaw took some jam out to a few neighbors and then we stuffed some stockings with coal and dirty socks. I am watching a Christmas movie that Jean told me about, a girl from Hindman, Kentucky plays one of the parts (she might have been one of Jean's students). Tooele, the cat, left us this afternoon... "parting was such sweet sorrow." Have a good night! We love all of you!!!
