WILD GRAPEVINES

Papaw got the flat fixed early this morning.  When he got home the phone was ringing with Howard Bennett asking him to come over and fix his typewriter.  Packing his tools and off the geek went... the only tool he had to use was the operator manual.  Never had he ever seen such a typewriter, it was electronic keyboard and memory with a daisy wheel print mechanism.  Apparently Howard had deleted one of the command entries to center a line of type before printing his sister's address (reinserted the command entry and problem was solved).  This sunny afternoon was spent cutting back the wild grapevine out toward the end of the field, chopping the vines and cramming them in garbage cans for our Wednesday pick-up.

.Mamaw:  got up early, read, studied, cooked breakfast, washed dishes, cleaned both refrigerators, made my bed, mopped the laundry room and kitchen floor, made hot dogs for lunch, took a nap, started a new book, made dinner and I am now watching TV.  I will wash my hair soon and go to bed.  Kristine and Tyler stopped by after the karate exercise this morning.  We love all of you!!!

                  Love,
       Mamaw & Papaw
