Nov. 10, 2003, Mon

Things have been hectic.  Donna has been coming over and spending week ends so Mike could study.  He has his specialty boards today.  We pray he passes and they can get settled down.  I love having the children over... they are so sweet!  Don put a light in the dog house.  We knew Rachel had gone outside, but had forgotten about it, and then I heard a noise... it was Rachel in the dog house with Blue!  She said it was really warm in there.  Sara was blessed last Sunday... all the Breeding gang and Staker clan were there for church and the blessing.  After the Sacrament Meeting Don, Danni, Shane and I went to Donna's house and had all the food ready when everyone else got there...it was really nice.  I was surprised at the way Shane jumped in and helped... he hooked up Donna's P.C. and then helped arrange tables and fixed food.  He really is a nice young man.  He didn't get the helicopter pilot assignment with the military that he had applied for... beaten out by someone with a college degree (who already had a private pilot's license).  The Recruiter called and told him there would be another class opening up in about a month or so.  I did my last months lesson on "Strengthening the Convert"... it went well.  We went to Provo to help Kristine with some things on Monday, but it was snowing so we came straight back home... we will be going there to give them a hand again today.  Friday was Danni's birthday, so I cooked her a Birthday Breakfast on Saturday morning.  Donna and her kids had spent the night... and so did Shane (Danni got to work that night)... John and Elizabeth were her too, Kristine had to do something for their Primary Program but she came later.  We had a good breakfast and a great time.  The kids got a kick out of having a birthday cake for breakfast.  Danni and Shane went home so Danni could sleep and the rest spent the day.  We went to Church yesterday... and it rained last night.  We are so grateful for the moisture that we have had.  It is time for breakfast and to get ready to to to Kristine's.  I talked to Donna this morning... she said the baby cried a lot again last night... she cries every night... I think she has colic.

Yesterday I did the ironing and put peaches and grapes in the freezer.  Today I spent most of the day sewing some curtains for D...
