IRRIGATING WITH THE COONS

Papaw went to the ERC this morning and didn't get home until about 2:30 PM... it took him a few minutes to realize that there was still time enough to do the irrigation and be finished before dark.  There was a little critter struggling to get out of the ditch and he rescued it and placed it out of the water's way for the day.  Roy Hall came over while we were having supper... he wanted a ward directory and a map of our ward for some project his mom is doing for Bishop Harmon.

Mamaw says, here is how my day went:  woke up early, studied, made my bed, made breakfast, washed dishes, did laundry, pulled weeds in the garden, made lunch, took a short nap, someone woke me up with their knocking on the door (a young man wanting to do some work to earn money) and  picked tomatoes before inviting Sister Robinson and her kids over to see the raccoon.   The kids were more interested in playing in the irrigation water than seeing the coon... they had a splash!  We had dinner and I made some VT calls because I thought this was Tuesday (Papaw's normal work day at the ERC... I forgot this was a special missionary training day).  Crazy me!??!  We love all of you!

            Love,
 Mamaw & Papaw
