PARTY'S OVER - BACK TO WORK
Looks like the party is over and we have to get back to work. Papaw cut down the pine tree that was in front of our house, ordered some sand to fill in the well and got a 3" diameter plastic pipe with a cap to top off the drilled well about 10" below ground level. The sand should be here tomorrow and we will see if he is serious or just dreaming about having a lawn some day.
Much of my routine was normal this morning: I woke up early, studied, made bacon / gravy / eggs / biscuits for Buddy and Hyrum. They got to play in the irrigation water for a while before we had to run the islanders out to the airport. I was sad to see Danni and Buddy leave but glad they came to visit us... they will be missed! Donna and Michelle came by to pick up Hyrum and then take Michelle to the airport to catch a shuttle bus back to BYU. They all had a quick lunch and then took off to make their 2 PM connection. I took a short nap, watered my plants and now I am waiting for Danni and Buddy to call (they should be getting to Hawaii soon). Have a good evening! It will soon be my bed time.
