IRRIGATION VS. RAIN

               

Papaw took all day to do his irrigation and then we had a couple of rain showers.  He sent a note to the canal company (because their phone's mailbox was full) asking if there was a problem with the canal today... it took him over 12 hours to water the field and that normally takes only 4 to 6 hours.  Our late afternoon rain has made it a nice cool evening.

I had a topsy-turvy day!  It all began as usual:  I got up early, made a desert for the funeral, started the laundry and got ready for the funeral.  The funeral was really nice and they had lots of family and friends there.  After the funeral we had lunch, I finished the laundry, tried to take a nap, watered the new sod, got rained on, came in and cleaned out a drawer beside the bed, made supper and cleaned up the place.

I talked to Buford and they are all well.  Danni called and we talked for a little while.  Now I am watching TV and will go to bed after we have Family Home Evening.  We love all of you!  Good Night!
