CAR REPAIRS
Papaw had the windshield replaced on the van this morning and the oil changed on the Impala at noon. The workers damaged the new glass when they installed the rear view mirror and he has to take it back again next Monday to do it all over. He discovered the Ford's windshield washers were not connected when he got home and he spent a couple of hours trying to repair the hoses. More work in process!!! Roy called and wants Papaw to drive him down town tomorrow for a doctor's appointment. Looks like things aren't going well today... maybe we should reset the calendar and go back to November.
Mamaw says: I got up early, studied, made breakfast, washed dishes, made beds, talked to Buford (he told me that Scotty had been sick and in the hospital but is home now), talked to Jean (she has also been sick but says she is feeling better now), did the laundry, made some breakfast bread, had lunch, tried to take a nap but someone kept slamming a car door (or maybe a hood), made scrambled egg sandwiches for dinner, did the dishes and I am now watching TV. It will soon be time for FHE and go to bed. We love all of you!!!
