March 25, 2003, Tuesday

I worked in the yard this morning.  Don and Phil Jordan went downtown to the Family History Center.  Claudia Shelton came over and asked me to toke her to the hospital for some tests tomorrow... she is going to have a stem cell transplant.  I said, "Yes!" ... but she came back later and told me that Lee Christenson wanted to take her this time.  I'll take her another day.

I did the ironing and finished folding the clothes.  Kristine called and talked for a while.  It seems that John may get a bonus for the health care plan proposal he submitted.  I called all the girls that are to come to Achievement Day and told them we would be meeting at Sister Downing's.  Donna said they had tested Rachel for cancer because her glands have been swollen.  I love that little girl so much...  I pray that she will be alright.

Our troops are meeting resistance as they work their way toward Bagdad.  There was a great  sand storm over there today... folks could hardly see anything but the bombing continues.  Prisoners have been taken on both sides... they have seven of ours and we have about 3,000 of theirs.  I pray that our country will always have its freedom and that the Iraq people can know what freedom is like.  Time to read!
