March 17, 2003, Monday

We went for a walk this morning and took Jennifer Tunstall a flower... it is her birthday and she is on Don's Home Teaching list. We went to the store and bought some toothpaste, shampoo & toilet paper for our emergency preparedness kit.

We talked to Donna today... they are all well. President Bush gave a speech tonight and said that Sadam Husane has only 48 hours to get out of Iraq (along with his sons) in order to avoid war. I will be so glad to get Donna and her family out here and Danni & Shane back. I worry about "Chuck" joining the reserves. I pray that all will be well with them.

I had a Visiting Teaching appointment for 5 O'clock this afternoon but the Sister was not home... I'll have to try another day. Don and I had a Family Home Evening by studying our R.S / Ph and Sunday School lessons for next sunday. I wonder what Brother Downing (a counselor in the Bishopric) wants to see me about tomorrow night... I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Elizabeth called today and said, "Hi Mamaw!" she sure is precious.
