         We got up early, I cooked breakfast and watched a little war news.  We talked to Donna and the kids, then tried to call "Chuck" but he was not home.  We picked up Evelyn on our way to church (I was sustained and set apart for my new calling today).  When we got home I fixed us some dinner.  We called "Chuck" again and talked with him... he and Andrea had an engagement party with neighbors and friends last night. 

        Jewell called and told us that Phillip is in the hospital.  Shelly and Selva came by and visited for a while...Selva wants Don to teach someone from his native country "how to drive - on the right side of the road."  I guess his friend hasn't been in the U.S. very long. It is time to read my scriptures and go to bed.
