Today was Fathers' Day. We cooked a big breakfast. At church the talks were really good. Nate Moeller was the youth speaker. Brother Robinson and Brother Bird spoke... on how to be a good father in their role model capacity. Joan Nay, our Sunday School teacher, talked about Joseph Smith's mother in Signs of the Days. She was talking about doing what we should in times of war, etc. She used the example that I had given in R.S. of Donna taking the kids to school when the sniper was killing people in the Washington, D.C. area. Marsha Godman gave a good lesson on the sabbath... Things that are good to do on that day... it should be our best day of the week. We had scripture study with the kids. Time to read.
