RAINY DAY PROJECT
We had a nice shower this morning and Papaw took his 'sweet thing' to the craft store for some inside activity. He had promised to buy a picture for her birthday to replace art work that fell and broke the commode lid a month or so ago.
This could have been at the Staker's a couple of weeks ago with their smoky hills, I am not sure they could have furnished the lake, tent, canoe and bears. After mounting the art work all the grass got dry and the old fellow moseyed outside to mow the back yard and garden. His tranquil sight seemed to provoke envy in one of his peers and cause was found to distract him occasionally.
Mamaw: I got up early, read, cooked breakfast, did the dishes, made my bed, went to the dollar store (bought gift bags... the rain poured down while I was there), came home, took Papaw to Michael's, stopped at Shopko (bought some High School Musical CD's for Scottie), came home and worked outside until lunch time, took a nap, got up and made gift bags to take to our ward's new move-ins. Papaw and I went out visiting and met some nice new people, one had a little 3 week old baby (a real cutie). That is about it for today. We love all of you!
