Thursday I made pies for Sunday dinner, on Friday and to the Girl's Activity Day. Donna and Mike came over and we baby sat while they went to a work party. They spent the night (with us). Mike and the four older children went to Mike's uncle's funeral. Donna and Krissy stayed with us. We made potatoes and deviled eggs of Sunday dinner. They went home last night & came back this morning because they were speaking in our ward. They did such a great job. Michelle had written her talk by herself and had it memorized. Ashley and Rachel sang a song as part of their talk...it was beautiful! They have great voices! Mike bore his testimony and the whole family sang a song together. Kristen accompanied them on the piano. The Sacrament Program was great. I was so proud of them. John, Kristine & Elizabeth, Danni & Shane all came over and we went to church together. I taught the lesson in R.S. on "Doing our best for the Lord." Everyone said it was good. I didn't know how to respond to their compliments... except, "Thank you!" We all had dinner here (ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans from the garden, sliced tomatoes, deviled eggs and rolls - with cherry pie for desert (their favorite). Everyone took some left overs home with them. I'm tired & I have a doctor's appointment for 9A.M. It has been a great day. I thank (Our Heavenly Father) for all my many blessings... we miss Chuck on these family get togethers... but we love him too. Time to read!!!
