Apr. 20, 2003, Sunday

We went to church today.  Gloria Ferrin spoke... she is just back from her mission in Alabama.  Her talk about the experiences she had was really good.  We talked to Donna, she goes to the doctor tomorrow.  She is going to have another baby.  They are trying to get everything ready for  the movers to come in and pack up on Wednesday... and move their stuff out on Friday.  I also talked to my mom yesterday... she had been sick all week and is going to the doctor tomorrow.

Chuck called tonight.  He told us about his Navy exams... they moved him up a rank or two but he has to complete three or four tasks within a year or two for the rank to be permanent.  He seems happy and excited.  Today is Easter and I hope we all take a moment to think about what the Savior has done for us... and give thanks for our blessings.

After church I fixed a ham, scalloped potatoes and green beans (and used Elizabeth's colored eggs in making deviled eggs.  so we had a fine feast.  Next Sunday is my turn to teach in R.S. so I need to get my lesson all pulled together.  Time to read
